My so called life

Two weeks ago the lack of adventure and thrill in my life was enough to make you go crazy. I'm only nineteen years old and I tend to fall into my thoughts more than I should. I have a dad in heaven and an amazing mom who would drain the oceans if my life depended on it. Just an average teen. I go to school at the junior college part time and work for the Xerox corporation full time (not fulfilling), major downsides to my so called life. My school is your average small community college campus, random people going on about their day aimlessly shooting around, or is that just me? Ive managed to drop each class this semester because I was such a loser for my first ever semester. I just cant seem to get it right. I'd rather not get into all that though. I seem to have bad management skills in general. What i wouldn't do for a good pair of those. So in a lump sum I fail at school & job. Ill keep trying. I KNOW one day I'll  get smart and make something of my self so that doesn't totally depress me. It's not easy being strong willed. As for the relationship department its closed for remodel. I cant seem to find Mr. Right, all the wrong guys are trying to find me and I'm not coming out of hiding. I yearn for my dream man to come find me, express his love in a vow and take me away from this BS.  My fingers are crossed, hopes down. Please don't make me out as desperate. I don't even try, i'm attempting to be more forward with people emotions.

Need a break? So does the rainforest!

Nestlé, maker of Kit Kat, uses palm oil from companies that are trashing Indonesian rainforests, threatening the livelihoods of local people and pushing orang-utans towards extinction.
We all deserve to have a break - but having one shouldn't involve taking a bite out of Indonesia's precious rainforests. We're asking Nestlé to give rainforests and orang-utans a break and stop buying palm oil from destroyed forests.

I locked my keys in my 09 Scion XB today.

Okay, So I got home after 4th of July festivities and straight up set my keys in the passenger seat, pressed the lock button on the door, got out and shut the door..... Then I realized the huge major (not minor) mistake I have made. My first reaction was panic attack as I have already lost my spare key. Like a true champ at four in the morning I turned to Google seeking guidance. Most Yahoo answers told me to call the police... probably not a good idea. The next piece of information told me to call a locks smith which ranges from $45-$75 around here.  At that point in time I remembered the 24 hour road side assistance company literally down the road from my house. Even better after that I remembered that I have a very close friend that works there. *light bulb* So I picked up the cellular and dialed my friends private line up to get a very friendly greeting at four in the morning. So I explained my situation and of course my friend was eager to help.  I waited outside for the company's truck to arrive which only took about fifteen minutes. When he got there he took two looks at my car and started bitching,"The last time I tried to pop one of these mother fu***rs I had to buy a new window! So that scared got us off to a bad start. He also kept saying that my car was supposed to be a Honda civic.  I don't know what he wants from me. After a few more minutes intense conversation continued he asked me to shine his flash light on my keys. Then he got this blow up pillow type thing, it looked like a blood pressure arm cuff almost. He stuck it into the crevice in the door and started to inflate it. My door bent open and he stuck a long hanger inside and pressed the unlock button on my keys which were conveniently sitting upright in the passenger seat thank goodness! So overall it wasn't such a wretched ending to my pretty good day after all! So over all if you ever get your keys stuck in your Scion or any other car in general just call the road side assistance people and hopefully you'll get the hookup.

Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral

Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral

The movie takes place 23 years after the events of the original film, Trisha Jenner who now has a teenage son named Darry (named after her late brother who was killed by the Creeper) has a recurring nightmare of her son suffering the same fate. So she sets out with Jack Taggart and Jack Taggart Jr. to end The Creeper's reign once and for all.  Let me say that I am more than excited because this is actually in production from what my sources tell me.  The movie is slated to release in spring 2011.

If you haven't seen  the first two Jeepers Creepers movies then I HIGHLY recommend you hop on that boat ASAP.

The Gay 90's: Clueless Cake Boys

The 90's was a time of cultural explosions: raves were in, torn baggy jeans, and bands like The Cranberries ruled the airwaves. On top of this, a little film called "Clueless" was released in 1995 to rave reviews and brought to light a whole new sub community: the obscuro-fag (gay dudes who literally belong in a totally different decade). As I recall, Alicia Silverstone as Cher Horowitz, tries to seduce a young newly transferred boy named Christian time and time again to no success. Oh man, I also totally forgot that it's the first time I ever heard "cake boy" used to describe a gay person. And frankly, what's wrong with cake? Absolutely nothing. If you don't like cake, you're pretty much a terrorist in my book.

Christian was played by a young actor named Justin Walker, who to this day has not had any other success (look it up on Wikipedia, he literally has done no film work since 2005 and it was a Clueless documentary). WHATEVER. We all swooned over Christian and his fashionable ways, his cute bucket seat vintage car, and his Billie Holiday CDs on stereo blast. It's not Cher's fault she didn't know who Billie was, she's a valley girl of the 90s. We were all listening to like, No Mercy, Ace Of Base, and random assorted club compilation albums. But Christian was different. He liked to watch Spartacus, was oblivious to Cher's cookie dough roll, and had cold feet instead of a hard on. He chivalrously saved Tai Frasier from plummeting to her death at the mall cause 2 meathead bros didn't understand "no". He was a cake boy through and through and for that, we love Justin Walker as Christian Stovitz. He was an obscuro-fag through and through, rejecting/oblivious to present trends and getting his mack on with other cake boys at parties The Mighty Mighty Bosstones happen to be playing.

Make your own Terrarium!

I friggin love making random things and one of my recent projects was to make a Terrarium.
It's really easy and it's great to have green in the house during winter!

Things to gather

  • A big clear jar like a fish bowl/aquarium, You can get the one I got at walmart in the kitchen stuff.
  • Charcoal. You can just get the fish charcoal from petsmart/petco/walmart in the FISH supplies.
  • Potting Soil
  • Sand or pebbles
  • Several Small houseplants , Miniature tropical plants work best because its a moist enviroment.
  • Accessories - Some ladies like to make theirs into a faerie terrarium.  I put some sticks in mine.
  • If your terrarium's big enough and has water and what not you can put frogs or snakes.
  • You can also have a desert themed terrarium. If it's large enough you can put lizards.
                                                      My Terrarium!

Wash your jar very good.
Then line the bottom of your jar with sand or pebbles about 1/2-1 inches deep.
Sprinkle a lot of crushed charcoal over the sand/pebbles.
Add moist potting soil how ever much you need for your plants.
Plant the plants in the terrarium.
Water carefully so that plants get a good drink, but will not be sitting in water.
You will know when to water again by touching the soil.
If it's dry, water it.
If it feels damp, do not. If you cover the terrarium, it will not require frequent watering.
